Hoggan Health Industries announces an exciting addition to its medical rehabilitation product line. The Hoggan ITC – Instrumented Therapy Cord is designed to improve resistance exercise results during therapy and rehabilitation. The ITC measures and reports peak force and repetitions for any exercise using elastomeric resistance bands. An adjustable setting allows the therapist to set the force threshold, either as a maximum resistance not to be exceeded, or as a target to be achieved. An audible signal indicates when the target has been reached.
The ITC is ideal for rehabilitation, where the patient has been instructed to exercise at a specific, low resistance to avoid strain or re-injury. Instant feedback and repetition tracking on an easy to read display increase exercise consistency, and patient motivation.
